Site owner, lovely and adorable
Due to the site using something called a secure socket (https) which means the site is pretty solid and secure. This not only protects you and your emails etc but also us as a website.

I love that you share photos but I can ask one thing please? Upload them using the upload file option. rather than hosting on another site please?

Two reasons really - If you host an image elsewhere that isn't secure then it can cause issues with this site. It's not the end of the world but help me keep the place tight :)

Other reason - Photo hosting sites tend to delete photos if they don't get many views, mainly old photos so when they do that, it makes this site look a bit shit if you're posting about your bike/whatever but the photo is no more :)

Kinda of a back scratch thing really

Quick details on how to do it are below - Of course you need to have hit the anti spam targets before you can. It keeps the spammers at bay

IS there a image size cap, i think thats usually what stops me on most forums from uploading pictures annd i cant seem to find where to upload the photo

There is a size limit. Raw iPhone 5S photos are too big, although most phones have a native crop function, which also helps keep the subject of the photo full screen for mobile users. I'll see if I can find the limits, if not Dan might know.

is there a MB limit per user? I know some other forums I'm on have a limit hence why people host images on other sites.

Not per user but only members who have reach the anti spam rules, can add images.

The limit at 1024kb but I've now increased that to 2000kb aka 2mb. I had a quick Google and it looks like the average photo size is 1.7mb so should be alright now

I'm scarred.... That looks like a screenshot, may be smaller in size than an actual photograph.
