Opps! Neverwet.

Hi guys,

Decided to use some NeverWet on my bike and I sprayed it unevenly, so it looks shite. Long story short I need to remove it. Now there's two options.

1. Use a light sandpaper (which I don't want to risk because I will most likely fuck it up).

2. Use 'mineral spirits' according to the instructions.

My question is, what are mineral spirits and will they affect the paintwork? Whilst NeverWet can be used on paint, I'm wondering whether or not the spirits can be!

Any advice appreciated, cheers all!

I have never used mineral spirits except to de-grease an area that I was planning on painting, but as far as I can tell it won't actually mess up the paint itself. It will probably dissolve the wax but I'm guessing that's the whole point of what you are doing, so that's OK
