I finally have a PR4 matched set. I've had a PR3 on the front for the past 2.5 years and got approximately 24k miles before I decided to replace her, even though there was still some life left. I put a PR4 on the rear about 6 months ago. Nothing but good things to say about the Pilot Roads! I don't have anything bad to say about Pilot Powers either, other than they didn't last long on my last bike.
Really wet rainy day here today, so I did the sensible thing.
I took the Sprint out and got some new tyres fitted
It came with some OK Pirelli Angel GTs fitted that I didn't like. Plenty of tread but the rear was starting to square. When cornering in the dry it sometimes felt like the bike was drifting and I'm used to feeling planted, so got a set of PR4s fitted after enjoying them on the Deau.
Have to say despite the rivers and lakes on the roads, I felt more confident on the way back than I did on the way there, and it was wetter coming back. I'll see if the 10 miles has even taken the glaze off the rubber tomorrow when they'll hopefully be nice and dry.
