What's up guys...

I changed up my setup a little. I got the new Ulanzi V2 case for holding the mic adapter together with the GoPro. The shape of the TX3 being a bugger meant that I was slightly worried about the 3M tape only having 1/2 of the surface area it needed with the heavier setup of the Ulanzi case and the mic adapter being together... so I bonded the GoPro base plate on with some epoxy. It's a bit messy but I'll tidy it up by sanding it down a little and maybe squeezing some silicone sealant in there...

I 3M'd a little bracket to hold the mic adapter to mic section just to stop it flapping about in the wind.

Did a bit of work on the mic holder in the chin bar too. Trimmed the dead cat too. Nothing like shaving a grey haired pussy...

Test tomorrow...

Thats a good looking lid. But dam I hate the way you have to mount GoPro on the side

Besides possibly below the chin vents. But you'd probably need more plastic arms. Unfortunately its GoPro design flaw when it comes to helmets.

Yeah...I love the Arai, but it sucks for cameras. I'm thinking of getting a second helmet just for making videos. Something with more flat surfaces...
