For me it depends on the content creator. I'll watch the entirety of RJ's videos and sometimes wish they were longer. But I think shorter videos are better so your audience doesn't skip most of your video.
I agree with you on the content creator. I think long videos that have spread out upload dates are always fun to watch. Short videos with quicker upload dates are good as well.
