So I am a new rider. I failed miserably at the MSF course. But at least I took [part of] it.
My friend is an experienced rider and couldnt believe how bad I did at the MSF course. He encouraged me to give up riding motorcycles but I refused, so instead, he became interested in watching me ride around the parking lot in hopes that I would have a hilarious crash.
So if he was interested to see me wreck, all of Youtube must be interested as well, right? I had seen some videos of other motovloggers [M13, shockofgod, iamramekin, rnickeymouse] and decided to make a Youtube channel to chronicle my journey into motorcycle riding and wrecking.
I started out with the intent of giving a true to life account of how stupid I am, so that experienced riders could laugh at my rookie mistakes. I've added in some "How to" videos for flavor though, and will probably do some traditional vlogging as well.
My setup is a GoPro Hero2 for video and then I narrate over that from the comfort of my computer desk. For one, this allows me to show only what footage I want to use in the video w/o worrying about losing any important dialogue, but more importantly it also allows me to ride with one less distraction. It may not be true motovlogging in a purist sense, but I like it so far.
Anyways, check out my channel and tell me what you think!
