Welcome to the forum and your new extended family that basically includes everyone else in the world that rides a motorcycle
Don't forget to wave! Or just nod if your hands are preoccupied, that's acceptable too
As a new rider never forget: Don't dress for the weather, dress for the fall. I've been fortunate enough not to have any unwarranted incidents thus far but there's a lot of variables out of our control, so I when I gear up in the morning I think to myself: "Time to put some armor over every inch of my skin that I care to keep". Also, black leather may be sexy, but staying visible is even sexier. I HIGHLY recommend investing in a high-viz yellow vest or body armor. In a addition, I'm pioneering a new helmet light system (because your helmet is the most visible part of the motorcycle) and if you're interested one of my prototypes for just the cost of shipping and materials I'd be happy to hook you up.
