Hey guys,
Outlaw3d here
, I'm coming at you from tropical Thailand. I'm an American, but am currently living in South East Asia. I've been following motovloggers for a while now, and finally setup a youtube channel and twitter LOL. I always wanted to record rides and stuff around the way, here is my chance
.
I ride a 2012 Honda Click 125i motorbike, it's got idling stop, which turns off the engine when the throttle is closed for 3 seconds (its great for long traffic lights) and then fires the engine back up at the turn of the throttle and off you go, great to help save a bit on gas when doing the urban scoot and shuffle.
Recently I got the Drift HD, and some random $3 chinese knock off mic, which of course doesn't work with the Drift HD without a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adaptor. Got one of those, again it's some cheap chinese thing and it only works some time and other times it just falls out of the Drift, WTF. Back to the drawing board on this one.
Finding stuff to rig my camera and mic in Thailand is seemingly impossible, and everything related to the camera etc. is at least triple the price I could get it for back in the US. Can't get it sent here either, because then Thai customs will rape me for 150%+ duties, taxes, fees,BS etc...
I should have been making vlogs of my mission to get stuff to start making vlogs...
So for the time being at least, I will be putting together some riding videos of the area around where I live. Hopefully being able to incorporate my voice someday when I can get that all sorted out. (is dubbing my voice over the video looked badly upon? Because that is always an option I guess)
The environment and landscape here is unique and full of character, and speaks volumes for itself with the crazy drivers and insane traffic laws (or lack of them). I get stopped by the Thai police at least 4-5 times a week, this is life on the mean streets of Thailand LOL.
Although these won't actually be motovlogs so-to-speak, I could always throw some vlogs of my adventures around the city, because there is a non-stop clusterf%#k of things happening, the people both Thais and foreigners, the food stalls, the beautiful Thai women, tropical beaches and so much more. Let me know if anybody would care to see any of that, since the motorbike aspect on some vids might be absent or not necessarily prevalent.
If you've read this far, Thank You for your time, check out my slowly growing new youtube channel and the 1 lonely video uploaded there right now. And if it doesn't suck too bad or even if it does, stroll over and hit that subscribe button! Thanks again.
