Hello all, I am new to Moto Vlogging as of a few months ago. I am a very long time rider going on 3 decades. In March of 2016 I was in a serious motorcycle accident Breaking many bones. Now 4 months later, surgery, PT, and $14,000 worth of damage to the bike. I took up Moto Vlogging, because when I was laid up all I could do was watch videos and it got me wanting to do it. So now I am back on the bike and moto vlogging! I hope to learn from other vloggers and hopefully meet some new friends and ride!

Getting back on the bike wasn't the hard part, the hard part was getting over cornering again. My spill was a low side that turned into a high side in the middle of a intersection turning left. So to get over my fear of corners I took a trip to The Tail of the Dragon in NC, it is 318 turns in 11 miles, I have the video posted on my YouTube Channel, now I am comfortable again only just shy of 4 months after the accident.

Funny you say that. I got back on track quite quickly!

Strangely, I was quicker on the 600 bends than I was on the 1000 straights (ride a 1000) after my crash, didnt know why. Don't remember the crash at all!

Turns out it was the top of a straight I binned it on

Inspiring reading crash stories. I have a friend that we have been encouraging to get back on after a crash last year but he has just shied away from it. Total bummer.

Yeah, my other half has a Harley also but after she had to nurse me back to health I don't think she will ever ride again. I will support her in what she chooses but it saddens me.
