New guy and channel for Kansas City!

My name is Trevor but on here and youtube Ill go by KCmotovlogger

I am from Kansas City, I am 24 years old and have been riding since August of 2011. I graduated from Pittsburg State University in December or 2011, and for now I am working as a security guard and working overnights, it sucks lol. Other than riding my other main hobby is Radio Controlled vehicles, cars, trucks, boats and planes, I do it all! I just picked up a gopro hero2 off of craigslist today so I have no videos yet. I still need to pick up a case and a microphone and then I will be in business!

I Ride a 1999 Suzuki Katana, and the reason I want to start vlogging is, well I've watched alot of you guys and gals for the past couple months and its somthing I think I will enjoy doing, so here I am!

I just created my channel, Ill try to add my first video up tonight or tomorrow probably just being a walk around as its cold and raining in Kansas City right now, Ive subbed some of you, ill sub any of you back that sub me!

Quick update, I went and got my sidemount and case today after work, here is a quick test video!

Any sugesstions on camera placement or a decent microphone would be appriciated! I also have a qustion, when I plug in a mic to the camera will the wind noise go away? I understand that mic placement will really determine how much wind noise you can hear but does using a mic inturn disable the mic on the camera? Sorry for the noob question but this is all new to me! Thanks for your help in advance!

:edit: also i recorded this in 720p at 30fps but when i uploaded it to youtube it only shows 480.... whats the reason for this?

for some reason now my test video shows 720p but now this video only shows 480 any ideas on why this is?
