New Bike Coming Soon....

I love my Guzzi, which means I can't ride it all year round (and the lack of mudguards is also a prob in the rain too) so have been lusting after a bike I can ride and enjoy (my Ducati Sport Classic Biposto is really an investment so I don't ride it very often). I am going to get a KTM 790R ASAP, but they are not until 2018 by the looks of things so need a bike I can ride all year round so the V7 stays nice.

Those that follow me outside of Youtube are probs in the loop already but for those not in the inner circle, stand by, new bike is imminent.....

I've already ordered a de-cat and can, looking into Power Commanders, and once available and I have the bike I'll book some dyno time for it too.

I am kinda torn on this as I really love riding the V7, but it is not practical at all so another is a requirement! :)

looking at brand new, I don't like ECU re flashes as they are a best fit rather than an individual map, once the bike is run in, I'll get it on a dyno and sort the fuelling to the bike/setup :-)

Depending on the bike, a reflash is much more powerful than a power commander.

The problem you run into now with the power commander is the bike will fight it.

Reflash also tends to offer many other options as well.

Download the FTEcu software and see if they have anything for your bike, then you can get an idea of what is capable with the factory ECU.

However as I always have said, it's only as good as the guy tuning it, so if your chosen tuner only does power commander then that's the best way to go.

I'll go one of the other ktm's. Maybe the 690 duke, or maybe even the 1290. And if it's the 1290 then we're not talking anymore. :p

Get a Supermoto, Practical as fuck... Especially in Winter. But if it isn't a SM, there still some hope left... so i do hope you got the new 765 RS :D With that tech, suspension package and bhp... *orgasm sounds*
