Esh, I'm not your top forum guy, but I'll give socializing a shot, prepare yourself!
A few words about me; The name's Dan, turning 19 soon and I live in Budapest, Hungary.
Two years ago something ticked in my mind and suddenly I just wanted to ride a motorcycle, so got my license, bought a bike, threw my leg over it and since then, through sucky weather, horrific gas prices, amazing survival stories, I'm just riding. After I manged to get my stuff together, got a degree in English and borrowed a camera, I started making videos and uploading them to YouTube! And so that is pretty much the point where I'm at right now!
My inspiration was that I've seen all the big vloggers out there and all the roads I wish I had right here, but no colleague of mine ever had the drive to make videos and show the world the things we have here (See we are a third world country, there's some really absurd stuff here!)
For me, that's reason enough to keep mumbling and upload it, who knows, somebody might even watch it!
Long story short, my ride is an MZ ETZ 125 (1987, two stroke, single cylinder) with slight touches I did myself. And I'm not talking about the dents in the tank. Thing is a beast compared to what you'd think of a 125!
I love tinkering with bikes, taking blocks apart to the smallest screws, fixing stuff, tuning, improving, electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, everything! I'm going crazy for socialist motorcycles, in fact I mess around with them quite a lot! I'm pretty much you mechanical tech-wizard from the smallest budgets with the biggest powers. That didn't sound egoistic at all.
I hope that in the future I can make some riding buddies, people who I can start a convo with any day of the week about motorcycles. Also I'm moving to Texas pretty soon, but that's a different topic.
