S1000RR!
Its a long story about my dream but I wont get into that here, I finally got this 2014 RR on 2nd May (two weeks back) and did a 2 day trip to Luxembourg and another 2 day trip to Nurburgring :D (vlogs getting ready) , rode it for a total of 1500kms now.

Just wanted to share few pics of the bike.

The lens flare adding a nice effect. It wasnt intentional btw.

26836372655_24421e83ec_b.jpg

HID for low beam, normal halogen for high beam.

26563799640_590baaf069_b.jpg

Instead of having one single piece of fairing cover the whole side portion of the bike, they have multiple pieces all blending together seamlessly.

The LED tail lamps. There are also two air vents on the side panels btw.

Bike comes with this tank pad.

Left switchgear, that trip-lap-set is one of the most used button to go to different menus and stuff.

26563870990_a3f9bee371_b.jpg

Right switchgear, the heated grips on this sure feels nice :)

26769007651_9cacc69165_b.jpg

Comes with an adjustable steering damper, it must be in its stock setting, havent bothered to check that out yet.

The triple clamp with fully adjustable forks. Right now its all in default setting!

I just love the look from this angle, can stare at it all day :D

Pillion seat is very very small!

That aluminium thing you see on fuel tank is for the BMW tank bag. The bag kind of gets locked on to those holes so it stays very stable.

The swingarm.

It has stock tyres which are Bridgestone Battlax BT016. It seems to do a fantastic job.

Brembo brakes, one finger pull is enough.

RR enjoying some greenery! :)

Very nice. I do like these apart from the headlight. I wish they were both the same.

I also have a thing against all these bikes that only light one light. I got sick of people telling me I had a headlight out on my Ducati.

I kinda find it sad for myself how the Germans can buy these babies for so dirt cheap that even Taxis there are Mercedes, while here I am looking into a BMW showroom from the outside because a filthy pleb like me can't afford the motorcycle equivalent of a Louis Vuitton.

Thanks a lot for your appreciation guys! The RR also says thank you btw :D
I wanted this particular colour scheme as this was always what I imagined in my head when I think of S1000RR, I didnt like the newer ones as much (not to mention, newer ones are much more expensive as well!).

@lupin , first time I saw this bike few years back, I was like why on earth would someone put different headlights on a bike! But then it grows on you and now it is such a unique thing that identifies this bike anywhere, the moment you see such asymmetric lights on your mirrors, you know who is coming :)

@BurntRuber , this doesnt come with launch control. There is a light which blinks when I am at the right rpm for a good launch.

@Sidewinder , same here bro. This is the only bike I used to dream of.

@Reize , Tell me about it! I am from India and only last year moved to Belgium so I know exactly what you are feeling. Just to give others an idea, India has 110% duty on imported vehicles so you can imagine how much this bike will cost there!

That's kinda like launch control. I would think they would have the technology is sports bikes by now. The dirt bikes have it and I was pretty amazed when I found out.

The latest one (post 2015) has it and the HP4 always had it I guess. Well I dont intend to participate in racing or drags so its point less for me anyway. I have also seen videos where skilled riders do better manually than the launch control :D

Mamma mia.. Dude, that is a gorgeous bike and those are some beautiful shots!

I prefer a supermoto over everything but I don't care about going over 100. I would rather haul ass on dirt. Dirt bikes just make you wanna fuck around all the time and I like that stuff.

Well, its all personal preference isnt it ;) Btw the most surprising thing I found in Europe (atleast the western europe) was that almost all the dirt trails are banned for public vehicles! You see a no entry board (for car/motorcycle) at the start of all trails. So if I ever bought a dirt bike, I can only ride it on normal roads :D
There are few groups who organize dirt riding sessions on KTM 350EXCs, and they have special permission to organize that in a forest trail, so I might join them sometime.
