You cant go wrong with either! Both are absolutely brilliant. Based on all the reviews I read comparing the two, I think the Tuono gets a slightly higher overall score, but you should go with the one you really want

Then beemer it is! I dont know about the price of both in Swiss as it varies quite a bit between countries. Eg. here in Belgium, Super Duke 1290 costs a bit less than S1000R whereas its the opposite everywhere else.
Btw, I will be riding to Swiss this summer, maybe we can meet up!

Oh and by the way, personally, the ONLY thing that hits me right in the face with this bike.. them headlights..
They should have made them the same. Size, shape or whatever but THE SAME! I mean, my freakin' strong sense of OCD kicks right in everytime I see them..

Hehe When they first launched the bike several years back, I was wondering the same, why would anybody do that. But now it has become a symbol
Btw, mine has different light colours for both as well, so its next level of asymmetry (It was done by previous owner).

I felt the same way when I first saw it. After seeing it for so long, I eventually got used to the asymmetry.

Yes, you keep looking at it and eventually you will start liking it. I thought I would feel the same way about S1000R (naked one) but I still dont like it
