My Ghost-s Setup On Agv Hi-jack Open Face Helmet

Hello folks,

Here is the video where I am reviewing my AGV Diesel Hi-Jack helmet and the way I attached DRIFT's Ghost-S camera with an external mic. Might be useful for those who are on the lookout for the city helmet for motovlogging.

Why I shouldn't?
In the urban setting I think this helmet does its job pretty well. After all, my bike's max speed is 60 mph and I rarely have a chance to speed up to that speed anyway. It's much easier to get it on and off.
For suburban riding or long trips I have a full-face helmet. But this one is my main helmet.

Riding a bike is statistically dangerous, wearing a full face helmet helps with those dangerous statistics

Nonsense, you know the risks and you're aware of the hazards and "what ifs" as you ride, it's how you go about minimising and mitigating the risks that makes the difference.

isn t there some statistic that says 40% of all head injuries when falling from a bike are in the front? (e.g.) chin?

Head injuries maybe.

If you fall off your bike and bang your helmet, unless it's a heavy impact, you're probably unlikely to injure your head where the helmet is. If you're not wearing a helmet then you are likely to be injured however you fall.

So either that stat suggests that of ALL injuries, nearly half are from the chin, but you need to weight it for helmet type and whether a helmet was being worn. If not then 40% of all crashes result in a rider going over the bars.

And also what's an injury? Grazes? Concussion? Internal bleeding? Too many variables for that statistic without any data to draw conclusions.

i found what i was looking for, and i was wrong with 40% xD (more like 35%)

if u fall, u mostly fall on the chin/front.(well 1 out of 3) since you try to turn around in a fall. same as streching your arms out

I mean if the guys decides he wants to ride with an open face instead of a closed let him. I'm sure he knows multiple statistics, and if it was up to the rest of the world who doesn't ride bikes we probably wouldn't have our 2 wheeled friends because they are "to dangerous"

The long and short of it is, all helmets meet the minimum requirements by law, be it cheap, expensive, a bowl or a full face. Those stats mean nothing without proper info, I so doubt you'd get brain damage from a chin on the pavement. Busted or grazed chin yes, but that's blatantly obvious to any buyer.
