Congrats on the first bike! I don't know anyone who's owned it, but it looks like a great starter at a glance. I know that's a really common phrase about going down but to that I say: "I reject your reality and substitute my own!". I've been riding for about 4 years now, done over 20k miles, and have yet to touch pavement with anything but rubber (and the kickstand of course). Do a safety course, practice the basics often (emergency brake/evade, figure 8 turns, etc), and assume that no one can ever see you on the road... ever. Look forward to hearing/seeing your adventures! (Subbed!)

If I could go back and start over today, I'd actually go for a honda grom. Currently I roll around on an 05 FJR 1300, but for some reason I STILL want a grom lol. Granted I also want to get Rider Coach certified and start giving private lessons on it... but I mostly just want it for me :)
