When i was out riding my bike cutted out on me while riding again and i dont know why it does this. But it starts perfectly after it's cuts out.
any ideas?

(I only know basic knowlodge abouts bikes)

thanks

Maybe hitting the kill switch? Fuel? Oil. I know there basic checks but some people do forget to check & keep ontop of them.

Or the plugs need changing.

sometimes if your in too lower gear & open the throttle, you can kill the bike by flooding it by air. Try get a vid posted if possible?

Does this happen when revs are dropping (eg. under engine braking)?

Also, does it have carbs or fuel injection?

Looking at his 'Ride' it says 'Sym Shark 50' which is a scooter

& after scanning Google looks like it's a 2T aswell. (could be wrong Google is hard to give you the right info)

change the plug, top up oil or just drop it.

Halfords sell plugs for £6 & 2T Semi Synthetic for £11. Make sure your oil is topped up regular 2T burns faster than 4T.

As dave has said, if the engine isn't warm enough it won't hold an idle so before you set off next time put the choke on for 1min, set off & slowly take the choke off.
