I have a very wide musical taste. It includes:

R&B
Bachata
Bolero
Axé
Bossa Nova
Easy Listening
Lounge
New Age
Ambient
House
Chiptunes
Latin Jazz
Disco
Europop
Eurodance
Eurobeat
Chill Out
Progressive
Celtic
Classical
Grunge
Ska

There are a few popular genres here that I don't like, they are cumbia, reggaeton, cuarteto and all their derivatives. I like electronic music but can't stand dubstep/hardcore. That's just noise to me.

I don't listen to the radio since I can remember so I don't get commercial influences and I'm always looking for new obscure music to listen and share. I used to browse a few websites to download my songs but they are mostly dead now. CTG being one of them.
SoundCloud seems to be the replacement nowadays.

Ahh ok... I think I even sometimes sing one of the songs... And I approve of Scotland in general.... But heard of them?? ... Nope!

Now if ya had of said.... Slim Dusty, Shorty Ranger, Arlo Guthrie, Neil Diamond, Burl Ives... And possibly even Nana Mouskouri! .... I'd put my hand up ...

Still... It could have been one of the "rum and redbull" nights where I signed up for all kinds of silly shit!

Well ... Name rings a very vague bell? ... But what I thought was the song I knew... 'Saturday night' ... The one I sing in truck sometimes when I'm tired but still driving.... Was actually Cold Chisel ...

Effectively I am unaware of Bay City Rollers.... But. Saying that .. I'm nearly always unsure of 98% of who wrote or sang the songs I mutilate!! :D

I recognise that song... But not that version.... I know the Dusty Springfield one.. Which I think is the original?

Can't help it bro... My house when I was a nipper was loads of US country, australian country, some old style dance hall stuff ... And ABC radio .... I don't actually remember being aware much of other music till about 1978 or so.... And by then my focus was Pop style or what Casey casum? Had on 'American Top 40' ...

.... I can sing Pearly Shells by Burl Ives al the way through though!!! ;)
 
Why yes! .. Yes it does.....

I often find it amusing to throw sealed bags containing 1 direction 'concert' tickets (most recently anyway) around the rim of the hole... Well a couple metres away... Then let the fans into the water...... Gets rid of tickets and fans!!!
