Movie Maker?

i think , if you use Movie Maker might be a little difficult to use colour correction. but you can still use transitions and add intro , outro to your motovlog

It will get you started but will also teach you some bad practices with movie editing and a lot of frustration. If this is something you know you want to do then as CBR said try Sony Vegas it is a cheap editor but full of features!

If you have loads of dosh get the Adobe suit of software.

I've just started and have been using Movie Maker. It does the job for me as my computer will only just handle it. But I have previously dabbled with Lightworks, which is a free program, bit tricky to use but has waaay more features and is more powerful.

If I were you go for Lightworks or Sony Vegas. That's my plan when I upgrade my 10 year old PC

I actually downloaded lightworks and tried it out.

Way above my head, i could cut down my videos and edit them far enough, but at this point i have no idea on how to edit down the tail (the black screen) or add text.

ill use it eventually, but at this time its a bit much

I used to use movie maker on my main youtube channel to edit some gameplay videos. It got the job done but it was just raw clips with an intro and outro.
