OK - Sunday morning we made our way up to Robbinsville to get me a new tire. Fortunately, there's a real nice moto repair shop open 7 days a week. Wheelers:



$250 later and service from this dude and we're back on the road again!



Stopping at the lower end of the Dragon at Deals Gap Resort. It rained a little so we sat around a little while to let the road dry off a bit:





And then we were off!

Sat and Sun went by way too fast. Loved the area, the roads and the time spent with friends. Looking forward to next time for sure ......

Hey All, Is the date set for August or in september as trinith said in his video at:

I want to know so I can attend. If it is in August, I will probably be coming back from Sturgis Trip, which will be from August 3rd thru the 10th. I would have to know the exact dates so I can take my annual leave from the VA on those dates, but I need to know as soon as possible, because there is always the chance that someone might request leave on that date.

You guys are staying in Gatlinburg. I'm ambivalent about this. I like Gatlinburg but it's a bitch to get in and out of that area. Lots of great places to hang out and eat after a day of riding though. If I can get the time off I'm in!

There's shortcuts around the traffic to get into town, can't do anything about the in-town traffic though. If you only know how to get there through pigeon forge then let me know, I'll show you a better way.
