General Motorcyclist Chases Down Police Force

Saw three Law Enforcement Officers driving like monkeys and breaking laws so I chased em down and gave them a piece of my mind.

Yeah thats total BS. Where I use to work we would see the police force all turn their lights on and race through traffic recklessly just to pull into a restaurant and go eat lunch. This happened several times. Another time me and my dad were riding in his old jeep and we actually had a cop hit us "during pursuit of another vehicle" which was BS and he never even stopped. It knocked our bumper off and everything. Hit and Run by the police. Sad thing is when we went to court over it they took the cops side and he got nothing for it but atleast they paid to fix my dad's jeep.

Yeah, that's no fun with the jeep situation. Gotta love the justice system! At least you got it fixed! I'm sure that officer is still drinking and driving to this day. :p

I've seen cops do that sort of thing a bunch of times. I have a vid where I see one of my local cops blow past a driver on the left of a 2-way street without even a signal. Ironically, I was talking about cops in the video!

I remember a accident where a police man was responding to call and didn't have his lights on or siren going and ran a red light and t-boned an elderly women. I believe she ended up dying a few days later due to her injuries. I know our local cops if they have to respond where stealth is need they wont go with the sirens on and usually at intersections will give a beep or two during the day and at night will flash their lights a little bit before intersections. It is sad and makes me aggravated at the clueless cops who think they are ABOVE the law.

Playing devil's advocate here. They're on route and getting weapons out within seconds of getting out of the car. Do you think they may not have sirens so they could sneak up on potential risk, and arrest them before they legged it?

That's the sort of thing that gets on my nerves!

That's a very bad situation! That's a bummer.. Hope everything worked out for her family! Just crazy...

There are silent runs that they do but here in our state it's against the statutes set forth to the law enforcement what they did. We were around 3 miles away from their destinations, lights were a must in that location. The motorcycle cop completely ran that stop sign and almost got taken out. As soon as the guns came out (unfortunately with barrels pointed up) I backed off which you see. Pretty crazy ordeal overall.

I agree with Dan, they probably didn't want to make noice although they should have stopped at the stop signs. I'm not sure if I would hangout around them when the are waving m4's.
Had the lights been used, this whole thing wouldn't have happened, I would have left them be. However they were reckless about things so I had to put in a word...or ten.

I appreciate the comments guys! :)

It's pretty crazy how many cops think the high-ready rifle position is acceptable. And honestly, they usually over-react anyway. Cops running stop signs and other traffic devices without warning is exactly why I always LOOK when going through an intersection. Even if you do end up suing them for damages, they just use tax-payer's money to pay it off. Pretty convenient criminal enterprise they've got going. 1) Break the law 2) Break you 3) use your own money to pay you back.

I'm glad we're on the same page here. :)

You should go down and ask what the standard operating procedures are on light/siren operation. A lot of it is up to individual jurisdictions but cops hate when an internal investigation is started on them with video evidence. It's not safe to blow stop signs and maybe you could help some future peeps out by bringing regulations to their attention.

I don't want to be on the offensive here, I'm very aware of all local roadway statutes. They're required to use at least the lights while in pursuit or on their way to a destination and may shut them off 1,000 feet before arriving. They didn't have to stop at the stop sign as long as they had lights going but they didn't.
