Hello all,

I am Revvin The 417, a motovlogger from Missouri. I have been vlogging for over a year now. I ride a 2015 KTM RC390.
I was pretty active on a different motovlogging site, and it died out. So, you will probably see me a lot around here. I am an engineering student, so I should have some helpful input every once in a while.
I am looking forward to making some good friends and discovering some new talent to watch. If you are interested in anything else, go ahead and ask... I am here to socialize.

welcome. do you live in the parts of missouri where there is nothing around at all or one of the cities? what type of engineering are you looking to get into?

Hey!
I live in Springfield, the third biggest city in Missouri. It is still not a huge place though.
I enjoy the Mechanical and Aerospace fields, but we will see where I end up!

I've been there before. I was stationed in Kansas for a while and I drove threw there when going home to Florida and back. Are we gonna see a motovlog in the tunnel in the ozark? Lmao

Lol what about some rc390 trail riding up in the mountains lmao. My buddy just got a duke 690 it's a monster. I only road it a little but it has a shit ton of power but it feels really weird. I'm used to a drz400 tho.

I actually thought about trying to off road it the other day haha. I don't want to have to cry when I drop it though!
Those Dukes are cool. When I graduate I will probably be buying a SuperDuke 1290 R. Just a little present to myself. I love them so much.

The wife says nothing over 600cc's... but she doesn't know very much about bikes ;)

Likewise! How long have you had it? :D Have you visited a track yet? :p

I have had it for over a year now! No track for me as of yet. The nearest track to me is a very good ways away.
Maybe I can get down there sometime and show some R3 riders how a good bike rides. lol

Lmao tell her it's just a 500. That 690 is a little bit of a hand full I don't know about the super duke. I road the 690 a little off road it was pretty good. My buddy did a hill climb on it and a few trails. We will have it on full blown dirt bike trails it always happenes lmao. He does it all on his 204cc grom. The engine on my bike went out over the weekend so I won't be riding for a couple weeks but after that trail riding will come.

Lol. I've had it for over 7 months now. Hoping to take it to the track soon. KTM is organising a track day on 12 June about 350kms from my place. :D

Yes, I love the 1290, but I was worried about how it would be with city commutes. After all of the research I have done, I am convinced that it is a perfect bike for that. You just have to keep the traction control on and put it in a lower power setting... Otherwise any movement of your throttle hand will send you into a full blown wheelie haha.
That sucks about your bike. Do you know what happened? What bike do you ride?

That is quite a trek, hopefully it will be worth it though! Get some video of that. I would like to see it.

Lol I forgot all the new bikes have traction control. Low power setting that's no fun lol. What happened if you need the power you gotta pull over and reset it. Ain't nobody got time for that. I have a drz400sm. I was doing a hill climb and fell (I fall allot because I do dumb shit) and the bike slid down and separated the boot to the carb from the air box and looks like filled with sand. When I started the bike and drove it it started to act really funny so I drove to my friends and found the boot was off. It wouldn't start after I fixed it so I took it to the shop and did a leak down test and it was very bad 90%. So I pulled the motor apart and found sand in it and my rings stuck all the way in. I'll be up and running as a 480cc in about 2 weeks.
