When I began thinking about motovlogging I decided that the ego would be good first camera.
There were several things I liked about it including 60fps, a decent price point, and most notably, the fact that I could fit one inside my helmet.
Since I began my blog, I've noticed a few things about the camera that are good and some that are not so...
For instance, the camera loves lots of light and will produce great video under ideal conditions -but overcast days are less than impressive and you can forget about filming at night. However, the audio quality is pretty good and you can't beat the small form factor.
This video showcases the ego pretty well: I use it in 2 different helmets with 2 different speakers on a clear day. There is some glare due to the camera being in my helmet and you'll notice that if I'm riding into bright sunlight you'll be able make out a reflection -but for the $150 I paid for it it's still not a bad deal.

I've been wanting to do a review on the ego for a while and will post one here when I have it up.
