That's awesome! I think my wife has that one for the kids to build.

I was SHOCKED the other day when my wife let our 5yo build Bag 3 of the Corner Garage... and he did it flawlessly! He's made a lot of progress in the last couple of months... I think being in kindergarten has something to do with being able to [finally] follow instructions.

I just picked up a London Bus set since it was marked with an extra 3,250 VIP points... under one condition from SWMBO: The kids have to get involved, either during the build or after, since it's minifig scale. Psshhh.

Neat!

I think I got that one in a pile of Speed Champions kits I bought for me and the kids... but they're used and I haven't gone through them to make sure they're all complete yet.

Glad to hear you and your son had fun building it :D

Thanks John! Yes, good times! : )

If you want to get more kits for you and your kids, check out FB marketplace. You might get a few missing parts here and there [as my wife has found out], but I'd say 20 Speed Champions cars for $200 was a pretty good deal. They're dusty, some are built, but it looks like all the parts are there. When I finish building my wife's Police Station, I'll start on those I think. Yes, I said my WIFE'S police station... she bought one new, and then got a SCREAMING DEAL on 5 kits ... something like $750 worth of sets for $150... so we've spent hours breaking them down and inventorying, and I just started building the Police Station, much to her chagrin.

On a completely unrelated note, our couch is quite comfy :D

You'd have thought for $1.2m they could have thrown in a windscreen! :D

As I understand it, the Elva has a specially-designed front end that precludes the need for a windscreen. From what I've read, it's mostly effective.

Lego are giving these out to hospitals for nervous patients to build who are having MRI scans

I read about that - what a great idea!

Now they need an "Office Space" set to give out to cube farm workers.

If anyone wants to follow my build progress for my Lego builds, I post my pics to my instagram page - instagram.com/roadreality [not sure if links are allowed in here or not]... but I just got a UCS Star Destroyer set for less than retail and have started building it :D There's a vid on my YT channel on the pick up too - but it's in my pickup since it's a huge box and it was snowing :D
