500 miles by supermoto
I don't generally post any of my videos here, but this was a special one I thought might warrant a post. I put a considerable amount of effort and thought into this, including coming up with the music soundtrack. From the video description:

"I hope it conveys what it's like to road trip on a little motard, but I know it doesn't do justice to the views, the solitude, the immediacy... Special Thanks to those random kids for the grape kool-aid. :-)"

There is just something about being so out in the open, traveling through the countryside and the small towns, getting into conversations with locals whenever you stop for gas or refreshment...

By the way, I never knew there were so many different, creative ways you could sit on a 2x4. LOL  I discovered just about all of them on this trip. On the way there I did all 500 miles in one shot, which took about 12 or 13 hours. I wisely split this into 2 days on the way back (which is when I filmed).

Re: "500 miles by supermoto"

This was a pretty sweet video. I left a comment on your YT page but you deserve a bump here as well:)

What would you have done?

I had cars flying up behind me and changing lanes at the last second. This was a dangerous situation these guys put me in. When I passed them, they were all laughing. I was tempted to give their door a good kick, but restrained myself. I settled for the rev limiter and some sign language. And then I got the heck outta Dodge as soon as I could. I don't like "playing" with cars.

What would you have done?

Re: What would you have done?

im going to be the devils advocate here and say you over reacted, you couldn't go around or wait?

Re: What would you have done?

Definitely didn't over react. This is ridiculous and is as bad as trolling in real life, people being annoying shits for the fun of it.

Well done for staying in control and good finger action there :P

Re: What would you have done?

Bunch of c*cks. I'd have probably stayed behind them until the next set of lights and then pulled alongside them and either questioned them on what the hell they were doing, or just before the light turned green, "adjusted" their wing mirror a little. But your method was also acceptable =)

Re: What would you have done?

You did the right thing, but here's something to bear in mind.

"Violence may not be the answer, but it might make you feel better."

Re: Semi-Hooligan with a fellow motovlogger (sv650)

No! He doesn't need a supermoto, you need to get a 'proper' motorcycle! And I even noticed that at 2:30 in the video the SV650 is going much faster than the KLX off road.

Ha, no. I was giving him space, because he was all over the map and going waaaay slower than I wanted to. After I went across the field to the parking lot, I was doing circles waiting for him. He led the second part back to the main road and I locked the rear at one point trying not to run him over. LOL

A supermoto is very much a "proper" motorcycle. :P

You would make a good racer with excuses like that.

I don't normally do videos this long, but this was epic and worthy of "uncut."
