This was a cracking little bike. I really enjoyed it and felt it was more fun than the bigger nakeds by far.

Nice review, doesn't look to be anywhere as nimble as the 390 version, that will U-turn almost in a single lane whereas the 790 didn't look to be able to even turn in a full width of the road?

It's not that bad. There is always a trade-off in agility between power and size.
I thought this was spot on.
The 390 is great but just not enough oomph for anything other than a small trip.
The 790 is just this side of making overtaking safer.

The most agile thing I have ever been on was a Honda PCX 125 scooter

Conversely, the Ninja H2 SX I went out on last week was EPICALLY fast but one really had to lean over to turn the bloody thing.

I've not ridden the 790 so can't really comment on it, but the 390 can do longer trips, I rode mine from West Sussex up to Chester, and then into north Wales and back over a couple of days, was awesome!
I get what you are saying regarding the overtaking, although I don't have any issues overtaking on mine unless I was already going illegal speeds, which it'll do 100mph, which is license losing stuff!
