I went out at just after midday for a short trip to the local Halfords. Six hours later I found my way back home after a trip to Thirsk and James Herriot Country - the North Yorkshire Moors. What a place!
I can't believe I have lived in Yorkshire for 40 years and NEVER been up into the moors. A beautiful day for it too.
If you are up and around Yorkshire on 14 June, The Northern Vlogger is doing a rideout (starting in Beverly, near Hull) and heading to the Moors via Malton and Helmsley on Sunday 14 June. I didn't get into the middle of the Moors, but just skirted a very small part of it. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did on my ride, and in reviewing the footage and editing it. What a phenomenal place.
