am it rite in thinking that the battery is just too flat?... i managed to bump start it earlier and get it running etc but then like an hour ago it just wouldnt go only 1 time it started then cut out straight away lol, the electrics still work but like the gear indicator keeps going off now to, so im assuming the battery is too flat to start the engine?

planning on getting a new battery so would this be good enough

Have a look for a battery called motobatt on Ebay. I bought one a few weeks ago for the SR because mine kept going flat when it was in my garage and can highly recommend! Mines did cost £45 but it comes fully charged and you don't need to add the electrolytes.

would one of them fit into a sinnis apache, im not sure of the battery space :P battery seems great and ready charged is awesome .plug and play :P i dont have a battery charger so seems worth the price

When your bump starting it, try holding the starter button down. I dont know anything about the sinnis, but my Husqvarna needs the starter button pressed due to the auto decomp.

Says the sizes are H:105mm L:151mm W:87mm

Either measure your own battery or have a look on the net for stock battery sizes. It does come with spacers incase it's too small for the space.

problem is that bike doest have the original battery its got some tiny 6 volt thing in there thats like half the size of the bay, im guessing if wemoto says its for the bike then it will fit, all other batterys are about that size it seems with a few mm difference thanks for the recommendation ill get that one :P

Never tried the iridium spark plugs so can't comment on them. Better of doing a search on google to see the difference between these and normal ones.

so after alot of searching an emails and a few phone calls, i cant find anyone that can tell me what the batterys will actually fit onto the bike of even the measurements of the standard battery that would have came with it

If its the same as mine, I have the pulse version of the bike. My battery is 12v and measurements are as follows: Length: 135mm Width: 75mm
Height: 135mm

the battery in it is a tiny 6v thing that is too small for the tray cant charge it because i dont have a charger..took it to my local garage to get it boosted but they ddnt have anything to do a 6volt lol and its a pile of crap battery anyway :P
@grandsatsuma THANK YOU haha think ive finally found one that will fit
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTOBATT-MBT9 ... 5d3831decc
its a bit longer but only by 15mm so i think that should be ok, if not ill just get some longer screws for the bracket lol

wish looking back someone else had already pointed out to get lol

Its still worth getting a charger for it. This WILL happen again. Its happened to me, and many other people, where we go out to our bikes, and it wont start, and its too icy to bump. A charger will save you time, effort, and, most importantly, money. If you buy a new battery every time your bike doesn't start, you'll go through a dozen batteries a year!

oh i plan to get a battery charger when i can but the battery needs to be replaced to its not ment for that bike, it looks like it was taken from a small moped or a bit bike or something

Im worried about what im reading... the OP says all the electrics work, then later says its only a 6V battery in there. If it is a 12V system, i dont think a 6v battery will crank anything and the indicators probably wont flash and the headlight will drain the battery really fast. If it is a 6V system, I hope your not looking at 12V batteries. All the lights will pop.
If it is a 12V system, people better stop telling you to charge the damn battery!

ive spent the last 2 days looking at batteries for the bike to see what ones would fit in. all the ones on wemoto and chinese motorcycle parts online list them all as 12v. the 6v in it isnt the original battery, the electrics run off it but thats about it lol

so turns out the battery wont fit (made a paper box measured to size :P) the tray doesn't look that big. its about L145mm H135mm W83mm. so now i need to find a battery that will fit that >< tho tbh im not even sure if the box is designed to mount the battery on its side with terminals facing out or normal. the wires are poking out on the side but doesnt make scene that it would be on the side
