Is There A Market For A Turn Key Motovlogging Helmet.

So is there a market for a high end turn key motovlogging helmet? I know there are cheap ways to get into motovlogging, but I have spent a ton of money on my setup, not all at once, but little by little. My Shoei RF-1200 was around $485. my Sena 20S was around $270. My FDR-X3000 was around $350. The Sony Mic was around $20. I'm not even counting memory cards, extra batteries, cables and mounts. All in all, I'm way over a $1000 bucks. And lets face it guys, when you get done, you got an ugly ass camera sticking out of either the front, side, or top of your helmet. Plus all the experimenting I did getting everything to work right. So if helmet manufactures sold a helmet with everything built in for around $1000, would you buy it. I'm talking about a helmet with a built in camera molded into the helmet so it doesn't look like an add-on, and a built in windproof mic, with a built in communications system for your phone and music. Now I'm not complaining. I got a sweet system. It just looks like I MacGyvered the whole thing together. So would you buy a turn key system or not.

The problem with that is I like to do other things with my GoPro as well. I've been ziplining, snorkeling in hawaii, taking scenic footage, skiing, filmed regular videos with them, and I have lots of different mounts, suctions, body mounts, etc to do all of that. And it can get heavy on long rides so I don't want it on there all the time. If it was built in then I'd have to worry about plugging my bulky helmet into the wall and stuff. Also it's cool when I see another rider with a camera setup.

Although I agree with the convenience of it all being there and a push-and-play setup, it would stop me from enjoying the expensive camera I purchased to its fullest. Just my 2 cents

Ah, and don't forget if something breaks :( The GoPro is super durable and can take some hits. There's a good warranty with it as well. You'd have to have a specialized repair service for this helmet. And it prob wouldn't be cheap

You mean something like Skully tried?

Now that Sena are going to produce helmets I'd say its only a matter of time before its all built in.

Nope, there's not a market as it's a tiny subset of bikers who want that tech in a helmet. Plus as above, people have preferred cameras, tech advances, yadiyada, plus your GoPro/Drift can be used on your other helmet too, or mounted to your bike for a track day.

A better option is to make a motovlogging starter set for gopros, drift or sony.
With essential mounts, microphone, converters, etc... At a competitive price :)

AIO helmet, not really interesting. Should take a lot of work to incorporate the camera inside the helmet, and a lithium battery inside the helmet isn't also a great idea :')
Also difficult to upgrade, unless it works with different modules.
It's not easy to make a helmet fit all sorts of sizes and forms.

There's this one, but from my friend that attended the launch there wasn't any test footage directly from the helmet camera provided, which I think is quite ridiculous for them NOT to provide any test footage. From what I see, the camera lens does not seem to be adjustable, so it's probably set for naked/street bike, not sure how it will fit for sports bike riding position.
