Is It Me Or Does Using Belcrow As A Mount Sketchy?

I got some 3m dual lock tape. That's much stronger than velcro, but I wouldn't trust it 100%.

I could pick my helmet up with it, but not sure how it'd cope trying to hold a camera on at speed

3M Scotch Permanent Outdoor Mounting Tape. I'm going to add a tether too though, but even that is attached with 3M VHB Tape.

I use that same stuff to re-use GoPro mounts when I take them off, looks very similar to the OEM tape but a little thinner

The thickness of the OEM tape is important to get a good contact with the helmet.

Not sure what that has to do with velcro style tape though.

Thinner strips can be layered to suit contoured surfaces like that on helmets. I was just pointing out an alternative to velcro.

How to you easily remove the camera multiple times with that tape though? That was more my point, it's just a bit more permanent than velcro

I take it out of the waterproof case? The case remains on the helmet.

the stuff malJohann is thinner than OEM but works perfectly fine, had it on my GF's car at...highway speeds didn't wiggle...although i still leashed it

you tape a mount to the helmet. then the cam to the mounts.

The main use for velcro-like tape is to chin mount GoPro's without using the mounts as far as I can see.
