Anyone use an ipad to edit and post motovlogs? I'm looking for a good app to edit with. imovie its okay and I've got pinnacle studio app but neither let you tweak the audio. I want to edit the audio to eliminate some background noise and make a little more clear in parts also changing audio output type would be nice. Any suggestions?

I never thought about anyone doing this. Would be cool to at least have for uploading small clips.

They are actually pretty great for putting videos together you can do a lot with them the problem is when it comes to audio. I use the ipad to edit off road trip videos together but for those there is no audio from camera usually I add music. Audio editting is a must for vlogs though.

I think at £235 for FCPX and Motion it's not that bad a deal. What's the list on Premiere and After Effects?

Don't they just sell their Creative Cloud Versions which cost like 20€ per month? I don't know if you still can get the CS6 Version.

Personally, I wouldn't use a tablet for editing, because processing of a final blog already takes like 30 minutes on my MacBook when you want to get a decent video quality.

CC is the subscription service. But at £20 a month, buying FCPX and Motion will pay for itself in a year. Like I say, I've not idea what CS6 costs or even the Pr and Ae portions of it.

they really are not slow like everyone thinks. I've put together off roading videos with it with no problems and render times are not too bad. my only concern with the vlogs was audio manipulation.

as long as you don't get too complex, should be fine. i've been editing on a laptop for the past few months because i can't set up my pc. the biggest problem is the cpu/graphics card doesn't have enough power to push 1080/720 videos + layers of text, effects (even small), layers for intro and outro. it has a lot of lag and makes it hard to sync up sounds for effects. i like to over complicate things though. if it works for you then do it.

I get the edit laid down, then add the other layers.

When I use dual cam, I get those two synced using markers, then add in other markers where I want extras, then they snap in to place and then lag isn't too bad as it's done the work on the core previously and just has to deal with the extra shorties.

Yeah I think I may just use the ipad for my short vlogs. I usually put everything together on my dell xps desktop since it has the dual monitors but sometimes I like to be mobile haha. I sold my macbook but it may be time to buy another one so I can work on stuff away from the desk.
