At no point will I want to de-restrict my bike, as I am trying to build no claims for future bikes and for myself, I don't/ can't afford to mess insurers around and put myself in a position where my insurance can become invalid.
If you de-restrict your bike, and have 0 years NCB then your asking to be caught and for high premiums.
Sorry but it's people like you that make my Insurance so expensive.
