iMovie? Anyone else using to create material?

Hi all, well I've just gone back to the iPhone and I've been using it to make my latest YouTube videos. I have to say, that being someone who hates editing I have found it a pleasure to use, simple and straight forward. I wish I had found it earlier.
Is anyone else out there using iMovie? If so, any tips and tricks for me?

I don't use iMovie, so no advice there, but welcome back! [I've seen your new videos dropping on YT - and your "relaunched" thing under your name]

[I use Resolve, and I hear that the Cut Page is similar to iMovie, but have no experience with either LOL]

Industry standard is Premiere Pro
Popular (more friendly) alternative is Davinci Resolve
The learning curve might seems intimidating at first but I guarantee it will save you so much time and trouble later on. Especially when you have established a work flow.

I've always used iMovie, partly because it was free and handy on my Mac when I started out and now because I'm too stuck in my ways!

No tips spring to mind, but let us know if anything tricky stumps you.
