General I Did My First Ride On A Harley, Twas A Bit Weird.

I go though these strange phases where I think it would be cool to own a Harley.

Then I just ride one and it goes away. I just don't think at this point in my life I'm ready for it.

I'm sure most of the appeal comes from the social side attached to the bike, and I'm kinda a anti social rider of sorts. My whole reason for riding it to be by myself.

I did almost buy a sportster not that long ago and was worried about the work it needed. It would have been a cool project but I know I would have spent more than I would get back at the end.

Do like the look of the V-rod though, but never ridden one.

I would actually go for one truth be told, but only if I had the cash. The belt drive is an awfully tempting feature and the MPG isn't that bad. The thing is though, they're just too loud at times even with the baffles in. Yea, it's good to feel alive on it but knowing my luck, some bellend would push me off!

Thanks Lurch! Much appreciated. Ah yes, thought I'd play the 'Game of Cones' ...TM.

£7495 for a base model. Pretty respectable to be fair. I wish I'd test rode it properly but alas, not a bike reviewer, yet! haha. I would say the only downside is the fuel tank has a range of about 110 miles according to the guy at the dealership, bit of a drag!
