I Broke My Trans

So I broke all the splines off my countershaft when I was trying to press off a gear on my transmission. Didn't see the clip that held it on. A word of advice to everyone check the parts diagram. I felt dumb after I checked it to see how much a new shaft is and it showed the little clip. Could have saved $100 just from looking at the diagram.

its a 06 drz400 sucked in some sand and the engine went out. i had a 480cc big bore and stroker crank so I'm putting that in. i sent off my trans to get isotropic treatment. my carb was sent off to get bored from a 39mm to a 43mm. I'm going +1 valves with moldstar seats. my heads getting ported with new guides. there is probably more I'm forgetting but with all this shit spread all over the country its taking forever to be able to get back and together.
