thanks buddy, I think the bits I have done are all things others could do if they had some spare time on their hands, the seat and subframe had to be outsourced though as beyond my skills.

Rather than post a very short second vid, I have finished mounting the skate deck now so here are some pics:

Folded some aluminium offcuts into a couple of brackets:

I then went with the simpler option for the lower part and mounted it with industrial strength velcro:
