Hello everyone, just figured that since I just recently started posting my motovlogs to YouTube I should come around here and introduce myself so I could get some good feedback from others in the community.
My goal when I started my channel was to do something I saw little of in the two YouTube communities I feel a part of. I wanted to merge my two favorite things into one format for fans of either to enjoy. I racked my brain for how to do this, and the thought occurred to me that it was more simple than I was making it. What I needed to do was to give people a glimpse of what goes through my head while I ride, what's always been there, not some artificial rambling to secure subs. I am a gamer, and I am a motorcyclist. When I ride, I think about gaming. It's my zen when I'm on the road. It's what allows me to relax and let my body and bike speak to each other, to prevent me from overthinking my inputs.
As someone who was new to video editing, but having been in the IT realm for nearly 12 years now in just about every discipline, it took me a long time to get the intro sequence to a point where I even felt comfortable with taking those first bits of content footage. Nearly a month in fact, from concept to upload. I still have ideas up my sleeve for how to add some flavor to my videos later, and different recurring segments that I can do, but for now it is as I believe it should be, a gamer talking to his love of gaming on two wheels.
Please feel free to give me whatever feedback you desire. Constructive criticism welcomed.
Enjoy (I hope)
