Hi from Melbourne!

Hi,
New to motovlogging and hoping to make some interesting videos other than random ramblings. Still in the early stages getting the rig set right - mainly tweaking the audio to reduce wind and other noises. Hopefully I can produce some videos showing some great riding locations and other usual information on my journey of discover with my recent purchase of my Honda CBR500r.

Riding since late last year and already had an 'off', which was painful whilst waiting on repairs. I originally intended the bike as some weekend fun but now you can't get me off this thing, and now trying my hand at motovlogging.

A few posts already on my 'RoamingAdventure' channel on YouTube. Any tips and feedback would be greatly appreciated. Following the local boys - RidingWithTom and ARidersLife.

Yes, I would do that, but I need to get my post count up first.

I think by the time I have my audio setup just right I hopefully should have my post count up enough to add a link Got the GoPro waterproofing down. Stereo mic setup. Wind noise reduced. But have some crackle back again

There are heaps of great guys down in Melbourne, way more than just ARL and RWT.
I actually come from Melbourne myself but reside in sunny old QLD these days!

My initial aim of making short videos has gone right out the window, they seem to be getting longer and longer. Started editing vlog yesterday and got up to 20min! So I split the vlog and trimmed both down a bit. New vlog up (here - yelling at driver on the phone), 2nd half to follow shortly (testing out my BiXenons on the Yarra Blvd).

One of the hardest things for me to get my head around in my vids was leaving footage out. I have struggled with myself time and time again in the editing room, deciding how to get the videos shorter without leaving anything out. Splitting them into part 1 and 2 is good, but often you can actually leave out lots of stuff that you yourself find interesting, but others might not. So I try and imagine others watching the video and not myself. This does not always work though! LOL

Just throw your camera off your bike along some gravel road. Seems easier than editing!
