Ive noticed that its not air flow INTO the helmet that my mic picks up, its more air AROUND the helmet.
Thats the thing, I have a full fairing cruiser, so a lot of the air is blocked already.Your bike's screen will have the biggest impact on this.
Air flow is fine, but you want smooth airflow and no buffeting.

I tried it behind the pad with the foam sock on it. I am thinking of cutting a slit in the cheek pad foam and sticking it in there to get it off the shell. Maybe that buffer will help.Hmm, have you tried putting the microphone in your cheek pad?
