why don't you put it on top?
do you feel, the left side of the helmet is heavier than the right side?
I asking this, because i use mount side on the right side and it was enough to make my helmet is heavier on the right side. so I had to set my helmet again at few moments and it's annoying

because I've already put it on the side, so I'm lazy to change it :D and maybe after some time I'll try to put it on top

I have a street helmet and am in the same boat as you guys. Tried to look up videos on YouTube about how others may have solved this problem but they all seem to involve screws or cutting away a small part of your helmet, which I'm sure is something you don't want to do to your new helmet. You could give this a try:
What's the seal like on the visor?

I like the helmet mount strictly because it looks wherever I look. Seeing interesting things and being able to record it easily seems invaluable.

I'm a fan of the helmet mount. It only works on some helmets but I like my GoPro on my chin

Sadly- both flat and curved mount do not apply hear as it has a protruding sharp edge where the chin is. I will post a review of the helmet this weekend, you guys will be able to tell.
There's always a way. I have my mount off-centre, and used a few GoPro arms to position it correctly.
