Do you deal with Bike Emergencies? The new Arai RX-7 is it true that the Emergency Services are trained on how to deal with the new helemt?

Just, I was told this buy a sales rep (You never know if they are just saying it so you will buy it) but it has the removable tabs that release the outer shell and keep the riders head within the inner & padding.

If you deal that side of Emergencies, would like know if hes saying it because he knows that or just a selling technique. The helmet does have the tabs just wondering if you are actually trained on how to use them. :)

And welcome along :)

yes on occasion!, over the last 5 year or so worked at most of the race circuits in uk providing medical cover, probably dealt with 50+ bikers over that time! the only recognised system is hats-off. tbh its normally sales patter as we would remove helmet and cut off any liners etc! hope that answers your question! ambulance staff are tuff-cut happy and will mince up your leathers in the twinkling of an eye!

Many thanks all for the kind comments!

Agreed, my boss was telling me that when his friend broke his colla bone, they had sissors that will just glide right up the leather. £900 leathers, sissors running up the suit taking less than 2seconds  . Ouch. Hehe.

2k leathers

 That's making my wallet shake just reading it, Ouch. Why would you spend so much when using them on the track? unless your actually racing. It's not worth it, more of a chance you will crash.

Welcome, I remember see one paramedic that was a biker, on tv that cut along the stitching of the leathers. So the bloke could have them repaired.
