GoPro Mounting using 3M Dual-Lock

KTMPappy's video shows how to use parts off the headstrap mount and some 3M Dual-Lock velcro to mount the GPH2 securely to the front of your helmet. Check it out, he did a good job showing how it is done.

I've been using the same setup for nearly all my videos, it's actually quite nice. Mine varies from his in that I use a shorter extension (off the helmet J-hook kit), so mine doesn't sit as high. It has proven to be a solid way to mount to the chinbar of the helmet for me, not loose or wobbly at all.

Mine is mounted to the front of my helmet on a block I made that changes the angle of the camera and that block is secured to my helmet with 3M tape haha. It's on there pretty good, but I just don't know how long the 3M tape will keep that hold.

I have been trying to find a decent method of mounting a camera on the chin of my Scorpion, I might just have to do some adaption of this idea.
