Don't be sad, Live every day like its your last!
if i remember right that gopro will not accept a mic. this is the reason i went with a gopro hero 2. they are pretty cheap and they accept the 3.5mm straight into the gopro.

Bummer, we'll sell this and grab a different one then

im not 100% on it tho ill go see if i can find where i saw it real quick. the gopro hero 2 can be picked up for pretty cheap used. sometimes you can find them with everything you need. i have a little over $100 in my whole setup and that 3 batteries a charger the go pro the mounts mics and memory card.

i think i was thinking of the square one. i believe what turned me off of this one was not being able to change a battery. i go threw 3 batteries sometimes in a day.

Oh for sure I tried to record a days worth and it died half way thru, I'll contact GoPro and see what they say

go with a hero 2 and save your money. unless your really want 4k.
Yeah i was more Goin for superview along with 2k just for the cleaner image, was gonna do the 3+ black but the hero 4 is 329.99 right now so idk lol depends on a few things this week.

Well got the hero 4, man this thing is nice :D I think I'm gonna use my hero+ for a windscreen GoPro ?

Well got the GoPro all wired up and good to go, crisp and clean sound well in house anyways lol will know tomorrow night for wind noise, but I have the mic pushed in behind the cheek pad so we'll see ! Had to drill a hole in the case for the mic, figured if I heatshrink the mic and adapter and putty the mini usb the GoPro should be waterproof still, well for rain anyways.

I don't have mine waterproofed and missed some really funny stuff when I we were riding home in the rain yesterday. I took off my GoPro and stuck it in my bag and it only rained for a little.

Hey man, the option I did which I really find convenient because there are less cords is this. I already had a Sena SMH10R and they sold a GoPro adapter which just slid into onto the back of the GoPro itself. This allowed the GoPro to pick up the audio from the Sena which makes everything pretty simple.

Looks like you got something that works well though man!

Yes definitely looking into the sena, for the vlog with friends and also music:P but then I can actually take calls and stuff as well. Is it easy to set up and everything?
