Right, I agree... Windows doesn't arrange them that way. Following your example, GoPro should output these filenames:But it would make more sense if it was
GH0100036
GH0100037
GH0100038
press stop recording,. record something new
GH0200036
GH0200037
etc.
The front numbers switching around should be something small and easy to change.
Hmm. I think I'l pass on the president thing - based on the last couple you have it well under control ROFLMAO
As I'm not a current gopro owner I'm not best placed to action this though.
I might suggest those who make videos about making videos (cough cough some motovloggers) might like to mention this in their vids - might also be a way of promoting some discussion in comments.
Groundswell ...
Wow, hah most of mine go up to the maximum file size at just over 11 minutes!I was just watching a video on YT [I think it was Bradley Manning testing cameras for overheating] and in it, he mentioned that 75% of all GoPro recordings are under 1m10s long... and IIRC, that was FROM GoPro's stats.
Can you share the link? The filename convention drives me nuts too.FWIW, I showed this in my Davinci Resolve Multicam video on my channel, if you want to see it better.
Am sure you would be able to find it on his channel. If not maybe drop him a private message asking for the linkCan you share the link? The filename convention drives me nuts too.
