Mac and cheese?? I THINK NOT, SIR!
So, my first outing with the gopro was a massive failure.
I had the camera pointed too low, and my mic doesn't work for some reason.
I plug the adapter in, plug the mic into it and hit record. And...nothing happens.
I get a dickload of angry hissing/static noise, but nothing through the mic itself. The internal mic works perfectly, so it's not an audio issue.
I found that a mobile phone headset mic picks up SOME sound, but the same noisy hissing static overpowers it, and my voice is lost in the SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, which is pretty crap.
I'm using a Hero 4 silver edition, so if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.
If it helps at all, the adapter is the official gopro one, and the mic is a 3.5mm standard lapel mic, which I've been using with my Drift with no issue at all.
