Hey everyone,

Im new to motovlogging and content creation in general and i was wondering what protune settings would be good for everyday vlogging on the hero 5 i've seen people using 400 iso but that causes overexposure with me.
So any suggestions?

I don't have a Hero 5, but I have seen plenty of videos on YT about Hero 5s and up, and basically they all say to manually set the exposure and white balance and ISO for the light level you're shooting at, leave color set to Flat instead of GoPro, and then do color correction in post. I still have mine set to GoPro, but @Dewey316 is one I know who follows what I said above.

Hi @Nobu I have been running GoPro cameras since I started my channel. I started on the 5 and 5 session.
I have great results with:
shutter auto
white balance auto
iso min 100, iso max 1600

You should have an EV compensation adjustment. Put that to -1 or -2, it should darken things up.

As Drak mentioned, if you are doing color correction when you edit, put the white balance to something stable, I don't like auto on that setting, but that is because I color grade after editing. And I don't want the color changing during a clip. I want everything stable, so I only have to color grade once for the whole clip.
