Yep totally agree the cheap ones are pants ... my only other problem is i have to bend the adapter in a U shape for the mic so its now fraying and getting crackly
I made the same mistake with the audio adapter. 5$cad for the adapter and microphone. The microphone works great for the price, above 110 it gets hard to hear though. Finally ordered the proper adapter ad it worked like a charm!
