Go Pro Mount Placement.

Hey so Ive recorded a few videos with my go pro on the side of my helmet so you can see the helmet, road and bike. But Im thinking of moving it to my chin..... Just curious as to what everyone likes and where they like to mount their own.

I don't own a go pro but the vlogs I like are with it chin mounted. It feels more like you're on the bike with the vlogger

Chin mount is way better!

You see everything like you were looking out of the rider's eyes without the helmet ruining 1/3 of the view.

The chin mount is good. I kinda like the side mount though I think seeing part of the helmet makes it feel more real idk. When I use my gopro I chin mount it but 9 times out of 10 I use the drift and side mount it.

I was just about to ask hahah about the unicorn mount. I dont like the POV or the way it looks on the helmet when your riding around. Lol

Definatly avoid that one for sure. What about on your bike? Wheres your favorite angle to stick your go pro or action cam?

I dont think a static position would work very well ither. It would get boring quick. It would work nice for a montage tho lol.

Using GoPro, chin mounted. For balance feel. Having it on the side makes the helmet feel lopsided and at high speeds the wind drag is uncomfortable.

You know what I noticed that when I turn my head to the right and the wind is just trying to take my head off because the GoPro is like a sail. I think I'm going to switch it to the chin mount with a black case for lookin real good.... lol

I like the unicorn view on the MX bike but I think I look like a teletubbie( if you know what that is). The side of helmet is good too. But on the road I rather like the chin mount cause it does stand out so much.
