I like the helmets that open up like that, the only concern would be impact though. I haven't done my research however but I may look into these as well. Let me know how you like it.

looks like a nice lid, man. i had a cheap one a while back that i got after getting caught in the rain a couple of times. it's really nice when you're stuck in traffic. those chin bars offer very little protection though, so be careful. I switched to a full face and i've been pretty happy with it.

thanks for the feed back. i love the helmet and if i ever got in a crash i think im safe with the helmet. padding is really thick.

Yeah first one was a cheap one and this one is great. it seals really great in 30F when im riding now in winter.
