Gitup action cams ?

So I've seen a couple of people on here mentiojnm they have Git2 cameras, and I see the 'range topper' at the moment seems to be the G3.

They are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than gopro cameras.
The G3 does have 4K (24 fps only)

I have a few questions for those who use them.

What is the battery life like?

It seems bulky compared to a gopro (lens is physically longer), Is that problematic?

Does it use standard gopro type mounts?

Max size of SD card?

Is the additional external microphone good - decent sound quality for motovlogging?

Downsides?

Does anyone know if the G3 uses the same betteries as sthe G2. I can see a G2 battery charger advertised but can't find one for a G3?

Also the G3 doesn't appear to come with an external microphone and I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them?

Disregard the above. I visited the gitup website.

I've just ordered a GitUp G3, 64GB SD card, 2 spare batteries and charger, open case, and external mic.

Now... the waiting game. It's coming from the US aside from the batteries and charger from the UK.
